Mt. Pleasant SC: Hi, My name is Bob Brennaman and I’m a realtor in Mt. Pleasant and today we’re going to continue on with our series called ASK BOB. The neighborhood we’re going to cover is one I haven’t covered before so I’m pretty excited about taking ya’ll back through here as we look at Fulton. Fulton is broken up into 2 neighborhoods. Fulton in the front of the neighborhood and Fulton Park is in the back. Fulton, there are about 30 home sites, about 23 or 24 have already been built. There are only a couple of lots left. They’re being built by ALKA Builders and ALKA has long built in high end neighborhoods in Mt. Pleasant. Mainly I’on. I can tell you, going through their houses, they have a really good eye for design. A house I certainly would buy, in a heartbeat. So these houses have, architectural modern twist on Lowcountry design. Front porches, metal roofs and other ‘Charlestonesque’ features. Lots of built in bookcases. The square footage on these houses is any where from 2100 to 3700 square feet and price range any where from the mid $800 K all the way up to $1.5 million, maybe even pushing $2 million for some of the biggest houses. Amenities back here include a park, playground and a pool. One third of Fulton is set aside, preserved where it’s just walking trails, kind of green space and that’s nice that they have some of the land and didn’t build it all out like they probably could have. It is in the Jennie Moore elementary school district. You’ve got Laing as your middle school and the way it’s zoned right now, you are in the Wando High School district. So that’s Fulton…that’s the higher end part of the neighborhood. Fulton Park is a different section of the Fulton neighborhood and that is located in the back of Fulton. It’s being built by Stanley Martin. Some of you may or may not know Stanley Martin. Stanley Martin has built in Carolina Park, built throughout different places in Charleston over the years. I think they’re regional builders but the houses I have sold from them in Carolina Park have been good houses. They are building 4 bedroom homes here, owner suites, master is on the main floor. Square footage, any where from 2500-3500 square feet, 4 bedroom homes. Price range $560 K all the way up to $800 K depending on the floor plan you choose. They’re going to have drive under garages, lofts, a place for an elevator if you need an elevator. And then they’re going to be adjacent to a plan to 250 acre park that’s being built in the central part of Mt. Pleasant and it’s going to have multiple purpose fields. Volley ball, soccer, pickle ball. I’ve read they’re going to have a 9 hole frisbee golf course which would be fun. It’s also in the same district as Fulton which is Jennie Moore. Laing and Wando. You are probably 10 minutes or so to the beaches on Isle of Palms. You’re about 15-20 minutes to downtown Charleston. I really like this neighborhood. The only thing I’ll say about this neighborhood is I think that’s a negative is that if you’re trying to make a left hand turn coming out on Hwy 17, it can be tough at certain times of the day. So it a lot of right hand turns and making a U turn to go north of the neighborhood, it would be necessary to make that turn. If you want to talk about anything related to Mt.
